In recent years, Infrared technology and Infrared system are widely used in military,industrial, medical , scientific research and so on. Infrared detector is the keycomponent of Infrared system. Infrared Focal Plane Array (IRFPA) detector with manycharacteristics has become global research hot spot.However,in the process includingresearch,development,production and application of Infrared system,it must involve thecommon technical problems of IRFPA test.One of the key technologies is dataacquisition ,and the other is data processing.This paper focuses on the test methods of IRFPA detector's parameters to carry outresearch work. The work of this paper is provided as follows:1. On the basis of a lot of references, the principle and development status ofinfrared thermal imaging system and IRFPA are analyzed and studied in detail. At thesame time, the technology of testing the IRFPA is expatiated.2. The IRFPA detector's working conditions and performance parameters areanalyzed, and the various performance parameters of the test methods are described.3. Combined with the above analysis of the IRFPA test methods, a systememployed to measure the parameters of IRFPA is proposed. According to therequirements,a kind of data acquisition module scheme is designed,which based onUSB+FPGA structure.This paper completes hardware and software debugging, andachieves the expected function.4. Based on the data from the IRFPA detector,the imaging characteristic analysis iscompleted.Using statistic method,it calculates the correlation,non-Gaussian andnon-linear characteristics of images,gives preliminary conclusions.
