The technology of staring uncooled infrared focal plane arrays (UFPA) with high-density and low-cost is the third breakthrough in the developing of infrared imaging technology. The infrared thermal imaging system could be made more small, more flexible, higher reliability, and longer life time in comparison with cooled infrared FPA, because it does not use a mechanism scan part and doesn't require cryogenic cooling. And the cost is only 10% of the cooled thermal imagers'. With the great progress of the technology of the infrared UFPA, a dual-use technology concept has been proposed which emphasizes the integration of commercial and military infrared imaging systems to meet the need of economy and defense. Now the research of UFPA is still a beginning in our country, so it is necessary to develop UFPA with own intellectual property, meanwhile it can bring much economic and social benefit. The thesis expatiated classifying and principle of the infrared UFPA. A complete test and analysis solution for 32×32 infrared UFPA developed by own lab was presented. It includes all aspects from timing drive to parameters analysis reports. Timing drive circuit based-on FPGA was fulfilled. A high-speed data acquisition system for acquiring analog voltage signals from the infrared UFPA was developed and corresponding parameter analysis software was fulfilled. The whole dissertation is composed of the following five chapters: In 1st chapter, the classifying and principle of infrared UFPA is expatiated, a complete test and analysis solution is presented. In 2nd chapter, timing drive circuit based-on FPGA is expatiated. In 3rd chapter, the design for high-speed data acquisition system is expatiated. In 4th chapter, the design for parameters analysis software is expatiated. Lastly, the 5th chapter makes an epitome of the whole dissertation.
