| With the development of information technology and increasing of the people's security awareness, the intelligent video monitoring system has been widely used in various fields. In practical application, we often need to monitor multi-channel video, while the currently available intelligent monitoring products can only process one or two channel video with each device. Therefore, we urgently need to develop intelligent video monitoring product which can process multi-channel video.Response to this request, first, a method of multi-channel video monitoring system based on DSP and ARM is researched in this paper. The system contains four DSPS and an ARM, each DSP with it's peripherals compose a subsystem, four subsystems process four video signals separately, ARM with it's peripherals compose a management subsystem, whose main task is to send video data through network and realize the function of UART. The DSP communicates with ARM through HPI BUS. TMS320DM642 and AT91RM9200 are selected as the main processor. On this basis, this paper highlights the idea and results of the system hardware design, detailedly analyzes the realization principle of each module, and gives detailed circuit schematic. In addition, this paper systematically analyzes the Signal Integrity (SI) problems of the system, and use LineSim simulation software of the HyperLynx to simulate high-speed signal of SDRAM before routing. Then formulate the strategy of the system layout and routing according to the simulation results. After completion of PCB design, this paper uses simulation software BoardSim of HyperLynx to simulate the system after routing to ensure the system's signal integrity.On the end, the paper summarizes the work and its shortcomings, and prospects for future research and improvement ideas. With the further improvement of this system, it will have broad application, and also have reference value for the the development of similar products. |
