The Design And Implementation Of IT Assets Management System For Gaomi City

With the development of government informatization, each department has more and more IT assets. So management and maintenance of assets are getting more and more complexly. After Gaomi Economy and Informationization Bureau is established, the bureau takes charge all the city's networks platform of e-government,Data center construction management of e-government and equipment hosting. IT assets that Gaomi Economic and Informationization Bureau owns, whether from scale or quantity, is increasing. And the effects which the development of government informatization take are more and more obviously. By the board, the bureau must adopt effective methods of IT assets management to improve management efficiency and using efficiency of IT assets. So the IT assets management system that this paper discusses, is of far reaching importance for improving the level of IT assets management of Gaomi city.Using Rational Unified Process (RUP) with agile development characteristics as software development methods and using Unified Modeling Language (UML) as the design description language, the IT assets management system constructs B/S three-tier structure software architecture. This paper analysises and designs comprehensiveiy the six sub-functions of IT assets management system. In the requirements analysis process, it adopts the problems analysis method based on modern software engineering and demand inspire mode in many ways, also combines with agile development idea, then gets the requirements of IT assets management system.This paper analyzes the development background of IT assets management system, descripes briefly the development trends of system, and carries out a feasibility study to the system function according to some problems of the system.During studying the system, the writer mainly designed the functional requirements of system, participate in Classification of system function. Besides,the writer analyzed the core business process of system. The system achieves the overall management process of IT assets management system from Submitting the basic material to material management. After access rights, the user Successfully logins to know various information of IT assets and to make assets maintenance and management,and so on. Assets maintenance management realizes the work,such as assets breakdown processing information, maintenance record check, maintenance costs statistics. Assets change management realizes the unified analysis to registration information of change assets. In addition, Assets depreciation management completes the statistical analysis to the total amount of depreciation.Through manageing the various functions, the system finally completes the overall functional requirements of IT assets to meet the operational requirements of Gaomi Economy and Informationization Bureau.The application of the system makes management staff and relevant leaders rapid inquiry and Statistik IT assets circumstance,to realize reasonable allocation of resources and provides the basis to decision-making, then Improves the work efficiency.
