Hotel assets system with its huge variety to the asset management is a seriouschallenge. At present, there is still a considerable part of the hotel in a manual orelectronic form of fixed assets management. Management idea and the managementmethod of all sorts of backward cause cannot effectively use and allocation of assets,equipment use efficiency is very lower. The efficiency of the equipment is between10%~40%. On the other hand, scattered management mode leads to the purchase oflight maintenance concept, make the purchase budget. Most of the useful equipment isin the idle state which is a waste of amazing. So it is necessary to establish an assetsmanagement information system to improve the management level of hotel assets.Hotel fixed asset management system is the typical information managementsystem. Highlights include the setting and maintenance of database and front-endapplication development. Through the development and application of the system,accelerate the realization of the modernization of hotel management.This thesis describes the assets management system developed by java languagebased on B/S structure and J2EE platform. This system uses MVC design pattern,Struts2as a development framework. This system use Eclipse3.2, MyEclipse6.0asdeveloping tool. Use Tomcat5.5as the Web server and SQL Server2000as databaseserver. System is mainly to complete the hotel management, asset type sourcemanagement, user management, allocation management, location management, assetmanagement, objective management, model management, time management, assetinformation related to the statistical aspects. The use effect show that the system hasrealized the basic functions required on hotel assets management.
