Research And Implementation Of Data Integration Based On SDO

With the rapid development of Internet and computer technology, information construction of all units has carried into effect. However there are numbers of"information islands"which posed in the process of construction. These isolated data makes difficult to access and use resources between departments. It has been the obstacle of information analysis and decision-making. How to integrate them effectively and provide a uniform interface to access those data has become an urgent problem to all departments.This thesis discusses the problems and the existing strategies of heterogeneous data integration. Basing on the discussion, an SDO-based framework of heterogeneous date integration system is designed. The framework is based on typical Mediator system structure, uses SDO data access model to debase the designing complexity for the access of heterogeneous data and makes use of XML document as common schema to hide the local specification of underlying data source schema. The framework improves transparency, flexibility and scalability of integration. The entire structure of the system is discussed. The modules of integration middleware layer and access layer are designed in detailed. The key components of the system are realized and the primary classes and interfaces of realization are figured out.In the end, the test for the prototype system is described. The results of the test achieve the expected effect and shows that the system is doable and usable. The last part of the thesis is the conclusion of the design and the realization of the system followed by the future works.
