Research On Network Plan & Computer Simulation Of WiMax Technology

As the rapid popularization of internet, some fixed broadband access technology develops quickly, such as xDSL and LAN. With the great success of fixed broadband access technology, the requirement for wireless broadband access technology is becoming more and more intense. With the perfection of city management laws, MAN(Metro Access Systems) construction, in particular the pipeline construction, is more and more limited, the fiber access is becoming more and more difficult, and its cost becomes higher and higher. Operators, whether existent or new comer, must consider how to quickly, effectively and flexible provide access for group clients in all-service competition times. The wireless broadband access technology, such as WiMax, may be deployed quickly, attempered flexible and operated effectively. At the same time it can provide effective guarantee for operators in future competition.WiMax, as a rising wireless broadband access technology, is attended by each operator and is expected high in the eleventh five-year programming. What is WiMax, What technology characteristic it has, what relation it has compared with other technology, how to organize and construct network and how is its future commercial foreground, all these questions are attended tightly by operators.This paper deeply analyses and studies WiMax's technology characteristic, and its relation with other technology such as Wi-Fi/xDSL/802.20/3G/HSDPA. network plan, computer simulation and so on. And the orientation of WiMax is brought out in order to support the operators'decision-making. the key subjects such as the process of designing for Wimax wireless network, the base station network planning, frequency planning, cell planning, the process of base station designing and core network integration are also deeply studied. This paper conduct a special analysis on link simulation and system simulation during the process of wireless network plan. Applying VBA, the program of link simulation is developed based on the Excel mac-tools, which changed the situation of depending on the factories, and it is applied successfully in the projects plan. With the commercial WiMax networks being deployed, the application system simulaiton program of Plan EV WiMax is also studied in this paper, and the application proved that the result of the simulation can be uesed as the reference for network planing and designing during the phase of project plan.By deeply studying of the comput simulation,the author achieved the computer assistant designing during the phase of the net pre-designing and detailed designing, which strongly support the design of WiMax netword project.The opinion and analysis process that this paper studies questions come from the author's work experience and practice.The author is main engage on roll programming, network subject plan, project design, soft-subject research, technology standard,and so on.during studying, The author takes part in operators'"eleventh five years" roll programming and project design about WiMax experimental network, organize to draft technology and test standard of company about network equitment based on IEEE 802.16-2004, Because of the author's experience, this paper can help operators to learn WiMax technology entirely, research and establish WiMax network development and operation strategy and deploy WiMax network.
