With the development of social economy and the accelaration of urbanization construction, more and more tall buildings are built for people to live. Therefore, the fire safety risks are increasing.Because the death and economic losses caused by fire could be terrible. But if we can predict the accident, in other words, measures can be taken before the fire spreads out, the loss will be reduced.The can bus has many advantages, among which real time and reliability are predominant.So this subject combines the two points and does make the research on the fire alarm system in the buildings.In this thesis, the MCU, CAN bus, and corresponding circuits are adopted to design the early warning system for fire based on CAN bus. The system detects and acquires the data by Temperature sensor and smoke sensor, and the data communications are based on CAN bus, which makes the system reliable and real-time.In this paper, the detailed hardware and software designs are introduced. The system is in master-slaver structure, in which MCU is acting as the processor. SJA1000 is selected as CAN controller and PCA82C250 is taken as the transceivers to implemente communication circuits designing of CAN bus. Finally, the results is displayed on the LED, which indicates the temperature of every sites, both master and slaver. In slaver sites, DS18B20 temperarure sensor and MQ-2 smoke sensor are applied to acquire data respectively.The yesting results show that the designs in this paper can satisfy the requirements.
