Information age entered the golden age due to the emergence of the Internet. Because of the high-speed transmission of information, society achieved all-around development. The sprung up of all kinds information platform and e-commerce bring enterprise vitality. But the numerous and independent systems cannot share data effectively, which cause companies have to invest more costs related to maintenance. Building a common and extensible system architecture to integrate internal resources and improve the search capabilities of information and implement fully functioning external window, which become the needs of enterprise development.Enterprise information portal (EIP) is a portal that integrates various application systems, data and Internet resources in the Internet environment. EIP provides enterprises a stable, scalable and reliable foundation, allows enterprises make reasonable business decisions quickly.Qianjia EIP is building on service-oriented architecture. It uses Microsoft's BizTalk Server to implement enterprise service bus (ESB) and uses WCF services to implement data adapter. Finally, through the establishment of relevant interface specification, adding some necessary API for existing systems to integrate resources. The system uses search engine, which programmed based on a open source project– Lucene, to create resources index, and establishes public interface to solve the issues of data retrieval and integration. Customers just need to log on once to access all applications'services from Qianjia in a unified interface by implementing single sign-on (SSO).The system combines multiple systems'service into the new service. This reconfigurable architecture provides a basis for more systems to be access in the future. The implementation of Qianjia EIP solves the issues of resource integration, data retrieval and shortens the time required for new features extension. It also reduces system maintenance costs and improves business processes. All these have laid a favorable foundation for Qianjia's development in the future.
