Research On Application Of ETL In Transportation Information Resource Integration Project

Data ETL (Extraction-Transformation-Loading) is mainly used to realize heterogeneous data integration of multiple data sources is a data warehouse, data mining and business intelligence technologies such as the cornerstone. ETL with data extraction, data transmission, data conversion and data loading functions, is the basis for data mining.Based on these extraction methods and extraction tools, we need to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various extraction, although the ETL tool to a certain extent can be centralized data extraction, data replication on the surface looks somewhat similar to the software. However, the positioning and focus of the software, and other types of technology is completely different.In this paper, based on ETL technology, combined with integration of transportation resources in Heilongjiang Province , the project business requirements for ETL products offered by vendors conducted in-depth study. The use of ETL products manufacturer completed a road construction, management, conservation, Zheng Ji and road transport management, transport business systems integration efforts to build a data exchange and integration of systems, data center resource library, data center resource library management function modules to meet the integration of resources of the Ministry of Communications to promote projects on the data requirements of Heilongjiang Province.This Article summarize the main functions of ETL technology by a lot of reading. And using ETL technology in Resource Integration Project of Heilongjiang Traffic Information. Customize task in which data exchange by data exchange and resource integrated to achieve function like collection,receive,extraction,routing and conversion etc, and finally load data into the integrated resource library, and directory of resources management. Provides a reliable method of data flow by ETL , to urge heterogeneous datasource change to destination datasource. Design process of extraction,cleanout,exchange and load of data. This study provide a theoretical basis for Resource Integration Project of Heilongjiang Traffic Information , and this study is feasible.
