With the rapid development of computer technology and communication technology, wireless device are now very popular in our life. The cable connects the office systems world widely with the communication systems and the wireless connects everywhere. So it is of great practical significance to design the wireless device management system.Firstly, some background information and conception related to the thesis are introduced. The universal platform is composed of wireless device and monitoring platform software which contains communication and data processing and graphical interface software. The system takes private protocol and SNMP to achieve the communication between the wireless device and the management system. The universality is one of the difficulties of designing universal graphical platform. Different kinds of devices have different hardware and software. To realize the universality of different platforms, so the management system takes the protocol. The object-oriented and modularized encapsulation design utilized in the software, to realize the requesting device's information and mass upgrading firmware and mass processing parameters. Mass upgrading and mass processing is an innovation of the paper. The system takes these methods to improve the operation efficiency. The graphical interface will display the device's property and the device's geographic information. At last, all the work are summarized and a research prospect of the subject in future is promised.
