The thesis sets out to give a full_scale analysis of how the Japanses government guided people to form the public opinion on Japan’s invasion of China, the manifestations of the public opinions in different times and how to control the mass media and the producers, the intellectuals from the perspectives of historiography, journalism and sociology.While trying to present Japanese public opinion.There are three chapters:the first chapter introduces the agitation of the public opinion of Japan’s invasion of China (around Sep.18,1931). It’s mainly introduces the nineteen thirties of the characteristics of Japanese mass media, the agitation of the public opinion of Japan’s invasion of China is the period of Japanese mass media in Japan is how to promote the incident. This shows, the Japanese government in full before the outbreak of war has been brewing for a war of aggression against China, making favorable public opinion. The second chapter mainly analyses the public opinion on the invasion after the July7Incident of1937. they will defend the Japanese aggression, all this shows that the public opinion under government control, the news has lost its authenticity, the last section to the Japanese government in the war of aggression during the news policy. The third chapter to second chapter, Lugou Bridge incident, although distorted the facts in the mass media and public opinion, war, many Japanese peoplle enthusiastic support for the war, but there are still a part of the Japanese people awake insists anti-war, and as time goes by, more and more anti-war movement.Originally the role of the mass media should play in social political and economic life of the supervision function, make society more civilized and orderly. But in a time of war, the mass media are often the government control, especially during World War Ⅱ, the Japanese government will control the development to a peak.
