With the computer technology and process control technology development, the process control objectives aimed by people have been increased to improve the production management, to improve product quality, to conserve energy, and to reduce production costs of standards; so that the development of the current process control made a lot of new requirements, how to use computer to better manage and control the production process has become increasing the concern of enterprise.to realize the entire production line monitoring, enterprise management and control integration has become the only way for the development of enterprises.Glycerin refining process is very complicated, but the condition is more serious, it relates to temperature, pressure, flow, material level such as a large number of physical parameters, including physical changes, chemical reactions such as complex process. Glycerol production process for such a complex production process, automatic control of the main objective is to ensure personal and equipment under safe conditions, stable production process conditions, to avoid the man-made product quality and output volatility, to ensure that production can get the most benefit. This automatic control of the production process put forward higher requirements. Through advanced means of control must be the key process parameters to achieve the stabilization of monitoring, To ensure that production output and quality goals in order to obtain maximum production efficiency.At present, large-scale petrochemical, chemical and other industries have adopted the DCS used in the production process monitoring, but a set of DCS expensive, the price of a medium-sized DCS while moving millions, or even tens of millions, the cost is too high, right in the simply too much for small businesses; two DCS system in general closed, compatibility bad.
