The Design And Implementation Of Advanced College Teaching System

Advanced education is the important element of China's education. Our college is the first hundred modal vocational college in our country, which use the teaching management network containing teaching, research, and other managing affairs and base on Web network platform.This thesis aims to solve the practical problems in teaching management process, such as big quantity of work, difficulty in colleting data, reluctant to response feedback, inaccuracy of data solving and old-fashioned managing mode. One of the aim of developing the managing system is improving teaching efficiency and teaching level, the other is pushing the management of all the colleges in China, and lead a direction forward with continuation,health and rapidity.Based on the study about the theories and technologies of teaching management development inland and overseas. The teaching management system for Daqing Vocational college is designed and developed to strengthen the teaching management information work of the college. The system of teaching management in accordance with the content and features, with full attention to the interactive software, simple and visualization principles, can timely provide accurate, comprehensive data and analysis for the personnel management, and can effectively improve the efficiency of the college teaching management, quality and effectiveness of management decision-making, reliability and real-time, contributes to the achievement of information and standardized the management in the college work.According to the fact of Daqing Vocational College, the author explored and analyzed the design and implementation of the managing system supported by UML technology. There are three points: one is analyzation to the general plan and concept of the adcanced college teaching managing system, mainly covered the detailed design of UML function and database design; the second is analyzation to the security, privacy and reliability of the new-developed teaching managing system, and exploration and research of each module; the last one is the design of the system windows and programmes which ask for repeated testment to the system, and repeated restoration and correction, finally the system realised the customer's genuine need.This thesis discusses the method and main progress of the Daqing Vocational College teaching management system development. First of all, analyzes the technology infrastructure to establish the Teaching Management Information System; and then, using a structured method of analysis to survey and analyzes the system requirements,and based on UML technology to achieve the College's Teaching Management System modeling; Based on the system analysis and modeling,and the combination of database theory and the actual situation of higher education, carried out the concept structure and logical structure design of system database, and system module has been designed, respectively; Finally, based on .NET development environment and database management system MS SQL2000, successed to develop the Teaching Management Information System of Daqing Vocational College, achieved the basic functions of the system. After system testing, system design is expected to meet performance requirements.
