There is no premonition before the sudden death,so sudden cardiac death( SCD) is Contingency and sudden,Some people even do not know they are suffering from heart disease and about 30% of people do not or never found a heart disease.According to statistics, 70% of people lost their precious lives because of receiving no aid,and most of those live outside the hospital.Early detection and prompt treatment can improve the chance of survival, so there is an urgent need to develop an advanced, practical and convenient ECG device. In recent years, advances in modern electronic technology and the rapid development of digital computer technology has laid a good foundation for ECG monitoring system's development. so people who has heart disease can get timely and effective diagnosis and treatment.The heart monitor in project based on STM32F103xx microcontroller which is high-performance 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3,the microcontroller which is connected with Micro SD card by SPI bus can read and write data to the Micro SD card in FAT32 file format . The PC downloads data to the microcontroller's Micro SD card through the USB interface. When the monitor work, The data which is storaged in the Micro SD card is extracted to the memory of the microcontroller to achieve real-time alarm. In order to make the monitor achieve the real-time alarm,we need setting the user informations and monitor alarm parameters, which requires fill monitor alarm parameters according to their own actual situation. In order to facilitate user,we develop a application software which is used to write user informations and monitor alarm parameters using Delphi 7 IDE(integrated development environment). When fill is completed, the user setting file named set.txt can be generated, Through the USB interface the user setting file can be downloaded to the microcontroller's Micro SD card and storaged, When the monitor work, the user informations and alarm parameters in user setting file extracted to the memory of the microcontroller. By real-time collection, extraction of ECG compares with alarm parameters in memory to achieve real-time monitor alarm.The paper mainly research the USB interface communication mechanism based on the microcontroller STM32F103XX, and actual USB communication hardware connection and software program in project . The hardware connection and software program between STM32F103XX and Micro SD card. the startup configuration of STM32F103XX microcontroller, applications of STM32 firmware library. PC and STM32F103XX can read and write data which is in Micro SD card in FAT 32 file formats. PC uses Delphi 7 as development environment to build the user settings file named set.txt and make use of the controls of Delphi 7 to design user interface, which contacts with the background ACCESS database .
