The rapid development of the computer technology has brought a radical change to human beings, which influences all aspects of people's life in a short time, including to the children. The computer is gaining more and more popularity and it is an irresistible trend that children acquire knowledge and widen sights through computers. Children can develop thinking patterns and cognitive skills by using computers. Therefore, it is an essential issue to study how computers affect child users'psychology.Nowadays, multimedia products for children, such as popular science software, electronic courseware, teaching website, distance education, etc., emerge in abundance in China. But the interface designs of those for children have no difference from those for adult users, because they neglect the different requirements between the two groups. By blending the theoretical fruits of kidology from home and abroad in the interface designs of the multimedia products, the paper summarizes the method of introducing virtual characters into the interface of multimedia products for children, and further designs the interface of multimedia products especially for children in accordance with the requirements of the infantile psychology, which makes children have more chances to participate in the man-computer interaction, and plays a great role to promote children's early education, scope of knowledge, and integrated development.
