The Studies About Interface Design Of Smart TV Based On User Experience

As an important part of smart home in the future, Smart TV is new trend in the development of television. Based on theories of user experience design, this paper studied on the smart TV interface design method, design content, design principle and design evaluation, hope to provide theoretical guidance for the lack of smart TV interactive interface design.Started with the basic concepts of interaction design, paper analyzed the nature and elements of smart TV interface and elaborated the main mode and the basic goals of smart TV interface design. The theory of user experience is applied to the design of smart TV interface in this research. Secondly, the paper putted forward the demand, interactive and design level of user experience, and summarized the five aspects of user experience elements of the smart TV, then work out the design model of the smart TV interface. Thirdly, upon the TV user investigation, the author found the difference on habits, demand and difficulty when they are using smart TV, to understand the reasons, purpose and demand behind and put forward the solution. This paper researched on smart TV interface design in five aspects:strategy, scope, structure, frame, appearance. Combining with the design model and concrete example, research made recommendations to functional planning and visual design of smart TV. Finally, the author made a summary and outlook of smart TV interface design basing on the new direction of smart TV development.
