The Study Of Compression Technology Of Multimedia Educational Information Based On Wavelet

With the development of long-distance educational resource's construction, Multi-media teaching resource plays an important role. The question about how to evince,store and transmit the educational resource brings some pressure to limited store medium and bandwidty of correspondence。The paper takes the video teaching resource as the main object, analysis it's feature. In common, video teaching resource is composed of teacher part and blackboard part. On the basis of prevail standards of image and video, the article gives the principle of dispersed wavelet transform and the application in image compression. According to the character of teaching video, the article designs the compression method on different wavelet bases. This main point of method is repeating between frames and wavelet transforming in frames. The evidence is that the method can reduce the data efficiently and can improving the utilization of media.
