Inheriting from wireless network and Ad hoc network, Wireless Mesh Network can provide self-organization function, providing large capacity and high rate, beyond visual range data transmission and broader network coverage. In addition, Mesh nodes can also play as a router to forward packets for other nodes, and act as other nodes'relay. Therefore, Wireless Mesh Network is a very ideal solution for wireless broadband Internet access. For the development of Wireless Mesh Network, it's vital to carry the billing on Wireless Mesh Network users and design a suitable charging scheme for Wireless Mesh Network. Therefore, the problems mentioned above become a new research topic. The main content of this article includes the following aspects:(1) This paper analyzes the Mesh network, AAA protocol and existing billing scheme for Wireless Mesh Network;(2) For the characteristics of Wireless Mesh Network characteristics, this paper proposes a new interactive network charging scheme, including two parts: the incentive reward and non-repudiation. The purpose of the incentive reward is to inspire more wireless Mesh users to forward data for other user. And no-repudiation aims to reduce the billing disputes by providing network users and network service providers with undeniable bills;(3) The Wireless Mesh Network billing scheme is analyzed from the security angle. The result shows that our scheme has attributes of securely transforming information, irreversible vouchers and undeniable bills. The scheme can also resist the incentive reward adversary and non-repudiation adversary;(4) A simulation by using NS3 is carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme. From the result, we can state that this scheme is suitable to Wireless Mesh Network very well.
