Research And Application Of The Microwave High Power Automatic Tuner Based On The Load/Source Pull

With the rapid development of semiconductor technology, RF/Microwave application is becoming wider and wider, people pay more and more attention to the parameter test of microwave high power device. The test in semiconductor devices also plays a more and more important role in device development and applications. The microwave high power automatic test system based on load/source pull is capable of making user acquire more accurate parameters than described in datasheets. Then the various changes of device parameters and the optimal value under various conditions can be obtained.The work in the thesis is focused on essential equipment in the microwave high power automatic test system --- 10GHz-40GHz automatic tuner. Introduction on its development and control is made in details, based on which, an automatic test system is built. Its development and application are also introduced. It takes VCO frequency load/pull testing as an example, and gives an introduction to the detailed working procedure and test results of the test system.
