With the development of information technology, the network has turned into an important platform which supports the running of the business-critical in the enterprise, especially for a financial enterprise which has many separated branches. Any malfunction of the network system in a financial enterprises can affect the every businesses running on it, and also bring some unnecessarily losses of the enterprise and the customers. As a result, how to guarantee the smoothly running of the network system which has become a significant task of the technical supporting departments of a modern commercial bank. For these reasons, management of network system in a bank is required, aimed to enhance the network maintenance level of a commercial bank. Focused on network events disposal, It can provide performance management of CPU, bandwidth and memory of the network devices. At last, a practical plan and implement method is proposed analyzing on the demand of the ICBC Xian branch.Firstly, the development history of network management is discussed in this article. Secondly analyzing on the basic network management model, the principles and realization of SNMP and Syslog are studied. Thirdly design and implementation of network management model of WEB is proposed, based on Syslog system log and SNMP method and technology. It can analyse and process the database data which had been collected from many aspects using C++and Oracle database technology tools. Then combined with requirement of branch, specific functions such as the configuration management, performance management and user management are implemented. The implemented system has operated stably more than a year in ICBC Xian branch, which provided real-time network monitoring and performance analysis, greatly improved the relevant network maintenance and management level.
