Ink-jet plotter is a kind of important computer peripheral, with the development of the CAD/CAE technology's, Ink-jet plotters are being used on a broadening scale gradually, and the higher request on the resolution and the precision are being forward by people. The servo control system of the plotter can directly influence the quality of the plotter, how could we improve the algorithm of the servo control system to ameliorate the control effect of the plotter is the emphases of this paper. Therefore, this paper which focuses on the servo movement characteristic of the ink-jet plotter, combines with the theory of the Model-Free Adaptive Control (MFAC) and Human Simulated Intelligent Control (HSIC), proposes a strategy of MFAC-HSIC cascade control based on the generalized model. Compare with the conventional PID control algorithm, the new algorithm in this paper has the good load adaptability with the change of work condition and the strong anti-disturbance and good robust. So this new control algorithm makes an obvious improvement in the control effect of the servo control system.
