Research On Reflection For Context-Aware Computing

With the rapid development of the wireless network and mobile terminals, the research on context aware computing is attached more and more importance. One of the main research tasks is how mobile terminals can adapt environment changes automatically and adjust their own status. Reflection can adjust base level objects at runtime. This paper studies on making mobile equipment to adapt environment changes automatically via reflection.A framework of mobile equipment interacting with context aware computing environment is given firstly in this paper, and then the reflection mechanism is analyzed. For achieving the goals that mobile equipment interacts with context aware environment, modeling for context is essential and this paper suggests a context model based on ontology. A multi-level ontology model is given and accordingly the structure reflection can be implemented. Mobile equipment should map context data onto context model by conception mapping. The mapping algorithm and reflection flow are given in this paper.On the base of the converging context aware techniques with reflection techniques, an approach of structure reflection for adapting multi-domain context environment is proposed. This method can achieve the goal of adaptation and lightweight for mobile equipment.
