:Context-aware application changes the way of human-machine interaction, it voluntarily and automatically provides appropriate service based on the state of user activity. But basic context information is just one numerical form to express physical quantity, how to use a variety of basic contextual information rationally and efficiently and how to inference user current activity from these information in context-aware application system are main research contents.It is only by modeling the contextual data effectively that context-aware application can use it. This thesis outlines the characters of contextual data differs from other data, summarizes the features of existed contextual information modeling way, analyzes each conceptual entities used by most of context-aware application, constructs the user-centered general contextual information ontology model finally. Based on this, research on the ontology inference method and the recognition of current activity can be completed by using custom rule-based reasoning, achieve mapping between contextual information and sematic activity.Second, this thesis analyzes the issues encountered in implementation of context-aware application based on intelligent terminal, such as, cannot reuse the basic contextual data among applications, at the same time, gathering contextual information and supplying services tightly coupled is not conducive to expansion. To solve these problems, a middleware system of context-aware application based on intelligent terminal is designed, which helps client shield a variety details of sensors on bottom layer, completes the management and reasoning of context information, realizes the share and reuse of data, offers a variety of communication methods for the client applications to query and access services meanwhile.
