The thesis is reasearch on LXI Bus Based Distributed Measurement System ViaNetwork, which is about the sub-topics of project named"Advanced Automatic TestSystem Control Bus Technology", part from the construction school disciplines in 2009.Its main target is to study the design and implementation menthods for LXI digitalmulti-meter modules. The DMM module is also designed to meet the LXI standards.In the first part of this thesis, we describe the development of the instrument bustechnology, analyze the advantages and features of LXI bus, and investigate thedomestic and foreign status of LXI digital multimeter. Then we determine the functionsand technical indicators for the instrument. On the basis of the theory, develop thetechnical specifications to meet the requirements of instrumentation in software andhardware. We also design the hardware circuit, analyze and solve the difficulties, debugthe hardware of DMM module; in software design, the first completed the preparationof instruments to measure features of the software, and the technical points of LXIstandards. In Software implementation, at the platform of S3C2410, use it as the corecommunications network interface to achieve LXI communication, and completed aSCPI command interpreter; Finally, the development of a scientific program of systemtesting, validation module function .The research on digital multi-meter based on LXI bus used for the subsequentproduction of a mature design and implementation technology, as well as promoting theLXI bus technology research and development of great significance.
