Along with the construction of large projects carried out, the rapid growth of a large number of heavy equipment made Overweight/Oversize cargo transportation very important. How to ensure the safety of Overweight/Oversize cargo is the key of transportation. During Overweight/Oversize cargo transportation lashing is a very important part to ensure the safety of Overweight/Oversize cargo. The using of the correct lashing can ensure maximum safety of transportation.In the process of Overweight/Oversize cargo lashing operations currently main rely on the actual experience of workers, the cargo lashing lack of scientific. And cargo lashing wether safety and security only by people's subjective judged. It will bring Overweight/Oversize cargo transportation serious safety problems and serious economic losses to the state and society. So carrying out Overweight/Oversize cargo lashing studies has important economic and social significance.Firstly this thesis combined with the practical experience of COSCO about Overweight/Oversize cargo transportation to research the current cargo's shape and lashing methods, and combined with the key factors that impacted Overweight/ Oversize cargo security to do cargo lashing security checking, the key factors including:brake inertia, friction. It proposed one reasonable designing method of cargo lashing.Secondly according to the key factors to design the cargo transportation Lashing Security Monitoring system.The system include hardware and software systems,the hardware system is built with industrial computer as its center, it uses Accelerometer, Tilt sensor, Tension sensor, Rotary Encoder get the cargo's acceleration, angle, tension and velocity. The development of system software take advantage of object-oriented design methods and the software preparation was achieved by VB6.0, which is made up of data processing module, database management module that based on Access and safety alarm module. Monitoring system that designed can get display and storage sensor data of the large cargo transportation process and make security alarm to the abnormal parameters of the transportation.Finally this paper combined with the project of COSCO logistics 500KV transformer transportation to carry out the system experiment, In the experiment the system get sensor data of the large cargo transportation and the results verified lashing method on the secrity.The research has important economic and social significance.
