Study On Current Crisis In Social Image Of Journalists And Mprovement Strategy

The overall impression left by journalists while playing their own social role constitutes the social imagination.In the course of media's operation, the image we are talking about is the integral impression and evaluation of a media organization, the role of a piece of news or a personal.Among which,the public put more concern on news reporters in the first line.As we all known,the mass media in different historical periods play different social roles.Corresponding to that, the social image of journalists is also changing with times.However,with the deepening reform of market economy, the media's operation mechanism becomes market-oriented gradually, at the same time,a variety of business factors continue to integrate into the media operation. In this process,journalists are attracted by the lure of power and money. Some of them define its role in error. Especially, there are more and more borken law events happening in recent years, something like paid news, advertising news, false news and so on.The gap becomes larger and larger between expectance and reality.In the environment of journalists' traditional society image destructive,the topic of journalists social image have became research focus, which looks forward to the arms for breaking through the bottleneck of media industry personnel.In view of this, this paper analysises the evolution of the social image of reporters since the late Qing Dynasty at first, then describes the current status of journalists' current social image crisis, researches the reasons behind and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, to provide some reference for improving the deteriorating status of journalists' social image.
