The Design And Development Of The Image Processing Courses Learning Platform

The degree of university informatization has been improved and consummated together with the rapid development of computer technology, network technology, multimedia technology, etc. Campus network, scientific management, digital information resources have become an inevitable trend for achieving modernization of education in domestic universities gradually.As some newly-added specialties and technologies appear, the onefold and traditional education mode in classroom can no longer fulfill the growing desire of learning from the students, and also technology renovation and advanced requirements from the society during the process of university education. Especially for educating the software of processing graph and image, like Photoshop, CorelDRAW, because of the improvement of hardware of digit, a lot of people are probably to know the related technology of image processing. As a result, students are more interested with these kinds of courses, the demand of technology's application has been raised, too. However, the amount of students who are taking specialized or optional courses are very large, the limited basic lessons and the facilities of the computer room cannot meet the needs of the students. Then the students can only learn some elementary knowledge and theory instead of deeper investigation and research.This article mainly focuses on the progress of researching and designing a university education system based on campus network, according to the education demands of both specialized and optional courses, this system provides the students with chances to supplement their knowledge after school, and reduces the pressure of the arrangement of hardware of university education.The system design aims to provide a web-based virtual space and forum for teachers and students to teach and learn, the unit is the application module of image processing knowledge. Teachers always know the learning demands from the students, so that they can update the contents of application technology in time, at the same time, the students can learn by themselves after school. The system includes three modules:user information, personal basic functionalities and course. The most important one is course module, there are three roles, students, teachers and administrator, and every role has own access right and functionalities. Particularly, the system designs the functionalities of advanced technology learning for students and interdisciplinary learning based on education information system.
