With the rapid development of the national economy, The technology of computer has been continuously deepened application of in all walks of life. Information technology infrastructure construction has been a great degree of development in Water industry in China. With the construction of infrastructure, How to better analysis and treat the large amounts of data generated by information equipment scientifically and provides a scientific basis for policy-making departments, Is an important and information staff question of great significance.The article detailed analyze the status of China's current water resources planning and utilization of water resources industry and describes the situation of China's water conservancy normalization, On this basis, the article carried out the research work in water resources planning in the field of data mining technology. The research work is divided into following two aspects:1,Combining the characteristics of water resources data and application requirements, The article analysis and build the system framework of data mining and data warehouse, Based on this, The key issues of data mining on water resources such as:mining methods, user interaction, data diversity and volume of data, the results of the interpretation and evaluation of data mining method selection are analysis2,Based the use of techniques on decision tree of data mining, a data warehouse model is a reservoir built to run an instance of reservoir operation data and hydrological data of, built using decision tree technology for reservoir operation schedule of the data mining system, based on the two methods (operation chart run operation scheduling and decision tree scheduling) to compare the results of a more scientific way on how to conduct reservoir operation were discussed.3,In this paper, by the time series analysis method of data mining, an example of the groundwater level forecast has established, three kinds of models on data mining: time series models,step by step from the regression,the seasonal model exponential smoothing are built. Three kinds of operations the results of forecasting model were analyzed and compared. The applicability of the three methods is explained.Finally, The work of the entire study is summarized.
