Studies On Popularization Of Radio Direction Finding Sport In Vocation Colleges In Jiangsu Province

As a kind of outdoor sport, radio direction finding combines workout, knowledge, interest and national defense education together and lay equal stress on both intelligence and physical strength. It also has a lot of characteristics: the special way to make physical training in nature, the method of participation to challenge oneself by natural conditions, flexible and quit-witted mode of competition, the combination of mind and body training and speciality study. Radio direction finding not only accords with the new idea on PE teaching reform, but also serves the speciality building. It effectively combines theory with practice, physical education with intellectual education and promotes the coordinated development of students'study and mind and body. This sport is available to be carried out in a variety of higher vocational colleges and beneficial for PE curriculum building.The value of radio direction finding carried out in higher vocational colleges has been demonstrated by many research laboratories. How to explore the appropriate resource of PE, heighten the effect on physical exercise, and put quality education into practice has important research significance for PE curriculum building of higher vocational institutes at present. By using questionnaire investigation, expert interview, logic analysis, comparative analysis and mathematical statistics, the author researches some teachers who attended 2010 Jiangsu radio direction finding training course, leaders of Jiangsu radio direction finding association (later for short: JSRA) and some leaders, teachers and students of Jiangsu College of Information Technology and pays more attention to the study of radio direction finding extension work in Jiangsu College of Information Technology (later for short: JSIT), based on the analysis of the current situation and influence factor of radio direction finding development in Jiangsu Vocational College. Through comparing, analyzing and summarizing the innovation ideas and practice of radio direction finding extension work in JSIT, this article provide some suggestions and countermeasures for the extension and popularization of radio direction finding in Jiangsu Vocational College.The results of research show:1.As a newly developing sports event, which can raise the comprehensive quality of university students, radio direction finding has brought to the appreciation of educators and is gradually introduced in Vocational College physical activities, but it's still not so popular.2. Jiangsu College of Information Technology, combining with the major, Setting up special organizations to promote, develop and devise security system and encouragement measures, popularizes radio direction finding energetically, carries out quality education effectively and gets good results in characteristic curriculum building of radio direction finding, base building of radio direction finding, campus sports culture building and high-level sports team training, which provides some references and experience for the extension and popularization of radio direction finding in Jiangsu Vocational College.3. The factors, which influence the extension of radio direction finding in Jiangsu Vocational Colleges, are policy orientation, leadership support, teacher training, fund investment and event propagation, etc.4. The campaign of the radio direction finding in higher vocational colleges has positive significance and has distinct advantage both in terms of quality of teachers, students and equipment or apparatus.Development countermeasures and suggestions: intensify efforts to propagate radio direction finding and train the teachers to expand the scope of influence; perfect the organization of radio direction finding association by security system and encouragement measures; rely on regular training base for teacher education, accelerate the development of teachers; make full use of the campus and surrounding resources according to the circumstances; add radio direction finding matches, forum, meetings and series of activities and strengthen communications among colleges; speed up the curriculum system building of radio direction finding, combining with vocational college majors.
