Web-based Online Examination System

The traditional method of exam is inefficient for lots of factors, including formulating questions, printing papers, examination of winding to supervise, the manual grade examination papers etc. Furthermore, subjective factors just like students' fraudulence, manual grading will affect the also justice of the exam. Along with the development of web technologies and rapid popularization of Internet, the online exam system has well been improved.The system uses Microsoft Visual Studio.NET development environment, and use ADO.NET to achieve connectivity and access to the database, using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as a back-end database management. Using ASP.NET (C#) programming techniques to solve the system based on B/S development of design problems. Throughout the development process using object-oriented development methods and three-tier architecture. System mainly consists of subscriber management, student management and teachers to manage the three modules. User management module has browser users, add users, modify users and delete user four-part feature.Student Management module choice of subjects, online examinations and the results query of three parts. Online exam can control the test of time and anti-refresh feature. Teacher management module main item bank management, exam test paper, subjective questions Marking results inquiries and papers analyze five parts. Questions test paper with a teacher manual Automatic Test Paper Test Paper and system functions. Item bank management can conduct the examination subjects and questions, browse, add, modify, and delete. Item bank of test paper on the theory of algorithms and design of key technologies are discussed and given the source code.The system has all-purpose use, good expansion, safety and maintainability and other merits. And it can meet the needs of current online exams in our college and some other schools.
