At present, there are two ways of controlling technology of sinter machine ignition hood based on ignition temperature and ignition intensity in the metallurgical field at home and abroad. But both of them could not judge the flame status, and could not provide the stability and safety of ignition system in the abnormal condition. This article explains how to utilize the network platform and through the combination of the hardware, which consisted of PLC computer controlling technology and network camera, etc., and software of video supervision system. And then the automatic controlling system of sinter ignition hood could be realized completely. The system, based on the flame detecting technology of the automatic controlling system of sinter ignition hood, not only makes the stability of temperature of ignition hood and improves the combustion surface condition of sinter mix raw material, but also improves the utility and safety of gas, and then promotes the production and quality of sinter agglomeration.The following research and developing works are finished mainly:1,We used the flame image sensor in place of the traditional sensor,i. e. got the image signal from the ignition flame sensor of flame mouth.2,Explaining the digitize getting principle of gotten ignition flame image,and then introducing the digital image processing system structure of the sinter ignition hood.3,We realized the combusting status judgment of flame image of sinter ignition hood through the specialty analysis of R,G,B grey degree value of ignition image in the different status,in use of image grey threshold value way.4,Introducing the developing history of RBF RBP neural network,and then enhancing the combusting status judgment of flame image of sinter ignition hood in use of this network.5,Adjusting the different technological parameter and establishing the new technological management rule of sinter ignition hood after the realization of the digital image processing system.6,We realized the sinter ignition automatic controlling model in use of the combination of the digital image processing system and the temperature controlling system through computer network controlling technology...
