In laser and some other tradition lighting techniques, what because uses the balancing illumination in submarine, causes to form influence of backward scattered background, therefore the distant place goal signal-to-noise ratio which the receiver receives will be quite low, simultaneously the quality of the image was also reduced, therefore the diffused light problem should be sloved in the water, particularly in the turbid water submarine. Now the most common method to reduce backscattered light in underwater target image detection is Laser technology, i.e. range-gated method which separated the backscattered light by time and synchronous scanning which separated the backscattered light by space. Though the backscattered light is reduced effectively, yet they also have many faults, such as low depth of field, wide blind area, and the bulk, weight, power of the facility and so on..In order to detect high-definition image underwater in panoramic depth, we proposed one new submarine target image survey method--submarine inhomogeneous optical field picture target survey method, namely presses in the aqueous medium light weaken rule distributed inhomogeneous illumination optical field theory, and corresponding concentric beam submarine observation technology and image system. This technical knowledge system might establish the technology base of the urgently needed high speed submarine movement goal submarine entire journey movement path image gain, and fill our country to prepare for technology in the high-speed target submarine path image observation blank to further.The article first introduced the present main development situation of the submarine image survey and the trend of development, then introduced the ordinary photo source illumination method and the present use the principle which the method surveys based on the laser method's submarine target image simply. Proposed that the inhomogeneous optical field picture target survey method, obtains under the special optical field through the computation and the simulation the beaming photo source distributed situation, Proposed the wide range inhomogeneous optical field establishment.Then through the optical field luminous intensity data which established to the basin experiment in carries on the survey and the analysis, proved that its submarine optical field distribution meets the inhomogeneous optical field survey theory requirement. At the last we expresses the deficiency in the establishment of the Inhomogeneous Optic Field and the expectations of future research.
