Ordinary light power in underwater target image detection attenuates sharply because of absorb and scattering, especially in turbid water. Backscattered light affects the image quality. Based on that we innovatively puts forward Inhomogeneous Optic Field Theory, i.e. in the three dimension space coordinate, the optic field distribution follows the principle of light attenuation underwater. Recounts the basic principal of Underwater Image Detecting Method of Inhomogeneous Optic Field, theoretically solves the problem of back scattered light noise, and deducts the light distribution characteristic of the inhomogeneous optic field. This method can detect high-definition image underwater in panoramic depth.The traditional underwater image acquisition system of single camera can only obtain two dimension information of the water , this article combine the computer vision technology and the illuminant of distributive light of central power based on Inhomogeneous Optic Field, so to get the posture, morphology, sports, depth and other information of the underwater three dimension space more further.The first part of this article introduces the actuality of underwater target detection and Binocular Stereo Vision , The next part introduces the basic principle of Inhomogeneous Optic Field ,based on using distributive light to establish a new underwater target image detection system, and then this artilce give a detailed account of the Binocular Stereo Vision Technology, including the principle of Binocular Stereo Vision, camera calibration, stereo matching and calculating of the three dimensional coordinate, and we performed experiments using our own structures of Binocular Stereo Vision system, and the experimental results showed the posture and depth information of the objects had been got. In the end, this article provide tentative plans about series experiments, and also some suggestion on matching algorithm and software according to the experiment result.
