RFID is a technology of contactless automatic identification, which has a brilliant application future in the field of logistic management and in the field for Internet of Things. This paper describes design of analog front-end for passive RFID winth temperature sensor complying with the standard ISO/IEC 18000-6B. temperature sensor aims for the low price tag chip market, such as transportation, storage, cold-chain logistics, drugs etc, which are sensitive of environmental temperature.Analog front end of tag chip is in charge of obtaining energy, providing all the power supply, measurement of the temperature parameters, local oscillator, Reference voltage generation, impedance matching networks, Backscattering and biasing circuit, demodulating the ASK signal and transmitting modulated signal. The article covers design of Analog front-end circuit. We carry on various analog simulation confirmation in CSMC 0.5um double poly mix process with Hspice. Finally, the layout of all the circuits were designed with TANNER software, and DRC check was completed with the design rules the foundry supplys.
