With the increase of process control complexity, it has been a trend that advanced control is applied to process control. Data is the foundation of advanced control, but there are still problems in industrial control, such as, field devices are various, data collection and communication standards are unified, integration is poor and so on. In addition, for the accuracy requirement of process control, problems involved with control system simulation and high-precision algorithm implementation also need to solve. Therefore the research for data integration, simulation and advanced control is very important.This paper analyzes the importance of advanced control, introduces the current problems of advanced control application, and explains the advanced control software technology. After analyzing the characteristics of heterogeneous data and field devices communication mode, a data integration solution was put forward on the basis of Field bus and OPC (OLE for Process Control). The scheme combines the application of real-time database and relational database, and it can provide data to support the application of advanced control. Considering that computing power of monitor software is weak, this paper carries out the research of component-based distributed simulation and control, proposed to use MATLAB as the background calculation server, and completes the interaction of data platform and MATLAB server through packaged engine API functions.Based on the integration system architecture above, aiming at the research and development request of the laboratory, the integration of many data sources was realized. And then, this paper designed and implemented some of the data application modules. The results show that:the design of integration platform is reasonable and feasible, and it can satisfy the requirements of industrial data integration. The framework of distributed simulation and control based on components can provide guidance and reference for the application of advanced control in the process industry.
