Design And Implementation Of Smart Card Managing System Based On Digital Campus Network

In recent years, with the fast development of higher education in our country, the difficulty of managing our universities and colleges has increased. In order to improve the efficiency, the level of management and the quality of service, universities and colleges enhanced the infrastructural investment on campus information, which partly promoted the construction and implementation of digital campus.As the technology of non-contact IC card (radio-card) invented in the early 1990s became more perfect, and the cost has constantly reduced, when we construct a campus smart card managing system, we have the technical foundation. Smart card managing system is an important component of constructing digital campus, and it is the basic project of digital campus. Moreover, the implementation of smart card managing system will accelerate the process of constructing digital campus.In this paper, considering the following situations, including the number of students in Henan Technical College of Construction became larger and larger, the difficulty of managing was increased, and the quality of service was decreased, a set of smart card managing system based on digital campus network was designed, and has been applied to the dining-rooms, dormitories, library, computer rooms, stores, bath places and so on, and in the end it turned out that the results was very good.At first, the project gave a detailed analysis of system design objectives, system design principles and system construction approaches, therefore, the different models of smart card managing system were designed such as the applied frame, network topology, business model, hierarchical model, data processing model and so on. And then, the types for the smart card were selected and designed the smart card read-write programmer. Thirdly, the paper described the functional platform of the smart card, the identified function of typical consumption and authentication; and at the same time, the paper presented how the smart card management system was integrated with the third system. The most important thing is that the paper put forward a set of safety strategies to ensure the operation of the smart card management system. Finally, after discussing this system installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance, the paper accounted for the successful implementation of the smart card management system in Henan Technical College of Construction.As a result of the design and effective implementation of the smart card management system based on digital campus architecture, the goal of "smart card at hand, walk around the campus" came true in our college, and this will facilitate the construction of digital campus and the further development of our college in the future.
