The Design Of Bank Smart Card Platform Upgrade

In the information age, banks began to have great importance to the construction of information systems in order to occupy a place in the banking industry. During the different stages of information systems development, banks often use different techniques. These information systems often have a separate user management, authentication and access control mechanisms. It is hard to implement interoperability between these systems. It would cause not only the waste of information resources, but also the security risks. With the increasing pressure of improving information service levels, it became a necessity to building cross-system, cross-platform centralized authentication management system.Now, each bank's information systems are using a smart card user authentication, which is commonly referred to as the card system. This paper takes a domestic commercial bank card system construction as the application background. Through analysis of existing smart card platform, a smart card platform upgrade solution design is proposed. The main contribution of this paper can be summarized as follows:●Giving a more comprehensive introduction to the smart card and information systems authentication technologies. And the development of related applications and technologies are reviewed;●The status of the bank's existing smart card application is introduced. According to the goals of the smart card platform upgrade, the constructions of the specific tasks are refined, and the detail requirements are proposed.●On the basis of referencing related systems, we design the architecture and the application process of the smart card platform upgrade solution in detail, which conform to the proposed requirements.
