With the rapid development of modern science and technology, computer applications were widely and deeply applicated in many fields with the development of electronic information technology. It plays an important role in people's daily lives and also has been rapid development in the water industry. Using in the engineering fields which can decrease huge and repetitive works for peoples but also produce great benefits. For example, the computers can be used for designing comparison, comparing to similar projects, optimizing the design, engineering simulation, sharing resources, rapidly transmission of data, making engineering design programs quickly.At present, some popular hydro-software has a strong relevance on the market. This software has completely functions, strong practicality, alternating interface and visualization systems, operating environment simple and suitable for our country's basic national conditions. Although these software powerfully and sophisticated solver, using a wide range, because of the special nature of water industry, the software can not completely satisfy the hydraulic aspects of design requirements. Visual development in the earth-rock dam seepage design direction is still very less, mainly due to the nature of the comprehensive anti-seepage, different earth-rock dam have their own hydro-geological features and different seepage control requirements. At present, for a number of earth-rock dams to reinforce which can not be applied the same. In addition, accompany with many uncertain factors, makes a comprehensive anti-seepage design difficult.This article based on the design features of earth-rock dam seepage and to consider the design of the actual situation. It develops a comprehensive earth-rock dam seepage control design system, which uses the VB.NET language and combines with GDI+graphics processing technology, combining with reference to roller compacted earth dam design specifications, designing and calculation of embankment dams, hydraulic structures (fourth edition), hydraulic calculation Manual (Second Edition), seepage analysis and control, VB.NET 2005 program designing and other related books. This article explores and studies different parts of the system, including the following parts:(1)This article lists some domestic's common methods of earth-rock dam seepage control designing and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of comprehensive seepage control technology on earth-rock dam.(2)The system clears development target, design principles, designing different seepage on earth-rock dam basing on the actual situation, planning and design of the system structure for detailed to achieve the functionality.(3)Choice of language system has carried on detailed exposition and the key technical issues of this system functions and programming in the implementation process. It includes some of the key controls in VB.NET using and some points should be paid special attention to, graphics rendering and the connection with Word operation, the corresponding syntax of the document.(4)Introducing part of system's application process. Earth-rock dam design seepage, including dam body anti-seepage design, dam foundation seepage design and dam downstream seepage design, different methods of the common anti-seepage design. This article also describes the engineering applications, mainly basing on the comprehensive anti-seepage of WULUO reservoir and discussing the problems in actual.(5)It introduces the details of the pervious and impervious foundation seepage calculation. The program's compilation and packaging process use the VB.NET language. In addition, it also details logging, tools, recording devices, calculator and VB.NET window settings, making a reader to know a software development better.
