In recent years, optical fiber communication and optical fiber sensing system have larger and larger capacity and more and more high speed. Our life is closely connected with optical fiber system. Not only in FTTH but also in sensing system, optical fiber connectors are indispensable. But the connectors have many defaults, such as installation of existing precision and needing professional installation and so on. Having a connecter with simple structure and convenient installation is the most urgent problem.Reflective optical fiber displacement sensor is an important part of the optical fiber sensor, especially the reflective intensity modulation fiber-optic sensor. It is under the spotlight with many advantages such as wide range, structure flexibility, small in size, ease to realize and so on. However, some problems exists. It also limits the development of practical.In this paper, I study on the reflective intensity modulation fiber-optic sensors with parallel beam. And put up a new structure of optical fiber connector, in which photosensitive components and two light paths structure are used. This paper mainly includes the following aspects:1. Do some theory research on the reflective intensity modulation fiber-optic sensor. Study on the principle of the sensor, and simulate the sensor principle of reflective intensity modulation fiber-optic sensor with parallel light.2. Put up the two-value problem existing in the reflex intensity modulation fiber-optic sensor, and put forward the corresponding solutions.3. Putting forward a method which can set moving range of specimens by putting photosensitive components in the specimen surface. This method can eliminate the bad effect from various disturbances, such as light power. In this paper the structure of dual light sensor is put forward and the C8051F410/2 MCU is used. A new type of large span reflective intensity modulation fiber-optic sensor is realized.4. Study on the end face of the optical fiber connector. Mainly includes the structure of different surface characteristics of theoretical research, loss of face of different structure of the optical fiber coupling efficiency theory and simulation studies.5. Presents a practical plastic optical fiber connectors structure. The optical fiber connectors by cone lens face down the plane with the optical fiber coupling, dock fiber connectors with easy fabrication, the structure is simple and convenient installation and the coupling efficiency higher characteristic.
