As an ancient liberal form, poetry is also a manifestation about culture of a nation. In a poem, it often reflects the culture and emotion expression of a nation. The rhythm is also one of the basic elements in poetry. This research concentrates on the rhythm of Chinese and Thai poetry. The methods to research are reading from library literatures, searching on the Internet, studying academic degree papers and practicing and so on. In order to let Thai student enjoy learning, lead Chinese education in Thailand to better developments, and further promote the communication of Chinese and Thai culture, this paper concentrates on the comparison of rhythm in poetry about Chinese and Thai poetry. The research of this paper is divided into five parts:First of all, Introduction content, including the reason of choosing the topic and research meaning, Research Summary, Research scope and data sources, Research methods and theoretical basis and innovation pointsThe first part is about the overview of Chinese and Thai poetry. Analysis what is Chinese poetry rhythm. Three contents of Chinese poetry rhythm, Two important factors affecting the rhythm.And analysis what is Thai Poetry rhythm, Three contents of the Thai poetry rhythm, and Two important factors affecting the rhythm.The second is about the comparison of the rhythm of Chinese and Thai Poetry. And it analyzes the similarities and differences between the rhythm of Chinese and Thai Poetry.The third part is about the reasons for the differences between the rhythm of Chinese and Thai Poetry. The fourth part focuses on the useful method to the education of Chinese poetry in class.Finally, the fifth part reviews the research contents of this paper, and summarizes the views and conclusions in all this paper.
