Classical poetry is the Chinese nation five thousand years of cultural accumulation, is the essence of national culture, has a very high cultural value, the teaching of classical poetry is bearing the inheritance of Chinese culture in five thousand. However, in today’s college Chinese course, classical poetry teaching did not get the attention they deserve, actually is students don’t want to learn, teachers don’t want to teach, teaching effect is not optimistic. In fact, college students interest in learning poems is not strong, is not without demand improve their level of classical poetry, but are not satisfied with the process of teaching. According to the survey, about 80% of college students think classical poetry writing refining and beautiful artistic conception, is the essence of Chinese culture, it is necessary to study classical poetry. So the students don’t want to learn not because students have no interest in this field, but in the current university Chinese classes than middle school course only a few differences in content, with no obvious promotion in terms of level and depth, cannot meet the demand of college students a higher level of learning, and the expectations of the heart want to go far.To a large extent, classical poetry teaching is still repeated teaching mode under the exam-oriented education, the lack of classical poetry interpretation and appreciation of multi-level and multi-angle, heavy light meaning to translate text comprehension and interpretation words light overall teaching class, class became the classical poetry translation, ancient class; Single teaching model, according to the inertia of the exam-oriented education, still pick word, cross cutting sentence, then established the central idea to indoctrinate students.
