Teaching Tang Poetry To Thai Students

With the promotion of China's international status,Chinese language learning has become popular abroad.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language helps learners to learn linguistic knowledge while also making them understand Chinese culture.At present,most of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language focus on the cultivation of students' language skills,and there is insufficient attention to cultural teaching.Language cannot be separated from culture.Tang poetry,as a representative of Chinese classical culture,is a part that cannot be ignored in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article choose Tang poetry as the theme,Thai students of the Khaothong school as the object,analyze the feasibility of Tang poetry teaching from the three aspects of learning status and needs,students' interests,and psychology perspectives.Discusses the promotion of Tang poetry teaching to students' pronunciation,vocabulary and culture.And use the methods of teaching Tang poetry for reference,based on the characteristics of students,try to find a suitable method for teaching poetry in this school,Author's brief introduction-read aloud and correct pronunciation-explain the meaning of words and sentences-the brain to imagine-Poetry summary.Two lesson plans were selected for analysis and a competition was held to test the results of Tang poetry teaching at the school.The problems and countermeasures in the teaching of tang poetry are given.According to the practice,the suggestion of tang poetry teaching is put forward.It is believed that students should be given the opportunity to speak Tang poetry from the use of social platforms and planning activities,and teacher should use multimedia resources to increase classroom interest.
