Ibsen and Shakespeare, Chekhov drama in the history of Western Europe with the three most important classical playwright, whose work has become a classic dramatic repertory theaters. Wherein, with "the father of modern drama," said Ibsen and occupies a central position,his work marks the traditional to the modern drama theater transformation.2006 is the centenary of Ibsen’s death, the world held a grand commemoration; studied drama reached a climax,especially in his later plays more and more of today’s academic attention. Throughout Ibsen’s works from the early to late in expressing deep theme runs through the pursuit of human self and spiritual rebellion. However, from the "duck" began, Ibsen’s creative style there is a clear change from the attention of the outside world into the human exploration of the inner world,plays filled with the strong symbolism of color. Then, in the late nineteenth century Ibsen change in the end what happened? Why is there such a major change? Creative ways and how the use of symbolism to express man’s secret? These are rich research value, and worthy of our in-depth exploration and analysis of problems.This paper is focused above all sorts of confusion. Ibsen later works summarizing research studies to determine the purposes and methods on the basis of its five aspects of the relationship between creative heritages belongs to the era background, theme implication, artistic style,character studies, and modern drama.
