With the position improvement of China, Chinese is more and more popular, teaching Chinese as a foreign language also makes a great progress. In addition to teaching of Chinese pronunciation,vocabulary, grammar and Chinese character, teaching of rhetoric plays a key role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, so it gradually attracts scholars’ attention.This paper mainly uses the literature review method, statistical analysis method and inductive method, and use the textbooks of "bridge", "development Chinese" and "Chinese Intensive Reading Course" as an example.The 3 sets of series textbooks includes 6 volumes of intermediate Comprehensive to study external Chinese teaching material of figures of speech.The first part is an introduction, introduces the topic of reason, studies have purpose, meaning and methods, as well as with the lack of innovation in this paper.The second part is the literature review of previous research on the teaching of a foreign language collection of rhetoric from the "relationship between rhetoric and foreign language teaching" 、 "rhetorical role and status in foreign teaching Chinese" and "Teaching Chinese as rhetoric Teaching " in three areas of the sort.The third part explains the importance of a foreign language teaching rhetoric, from two perspectives.The fourth part of the selection of books Intermediate Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching materials in the rhetoric and analyze statistics from the type of speech, the content of speech and rhetorical aspects of this genre.The fifth part is the fourth part of the analysis, identify problems and textbooks and classroom teaching presence Intermediate Comprehensive Chinese Course rhetoric teaching, and teaching suggestions put forward.The last part is the conclusion of the whole thesis.
