Since Teaching Chinese as a foreign language became a subject,it has received more and more attention.In recent years,China has played an increasingly important role in the world,attracting more and more people to learn Chinese and Chinese culture.The world’s peaceful and stable situation has also provided good conditions for the development of Chinese.Without Chinese teaching materials,Chinese teaching activities will be difficult to carry out.According to the teaching goals,Chinese textbooks can be divided into two types:comprehensive textbooks and skill-based training textbooks.Different teaching materials have different teaching goals.The teaching goal of the comprehensive textbook is to improve students’ Chinese ability in an all-round way,while the skill-based training materials are written for a certain skill of the students.The reading materials are written to improve the students’ reading ability.By reading,foreign students can understand China and Chinese culture better.Reading activities are inseparable from reading materials,and the role of reading materials in the process of reading teaching is very important.The most common reading material in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language is Chinese textbooks.This article selects two sets of textbooks with great domestic influence and a large number of users: "Development Chinese · Intermediate Reading" and "Step Chinese · Intermediate Reading".It also conducts comparative research from the four perspectives of textbook layout,essay selection,new words and exercises,aiming to put forward suggestions and innovations for textbook compilation that adapt to the development of the times.This article first uses the literature analysis method to read the literature to understand the principles and research status of the intermediate reading textbook compilation.Secondly,use the comparative analysis method to conduct a complete comparative analysis on the arrangement,selection,new words and exercises of the two sets of textbooks,and sort out the similarities and differences between the two sets of textbooks and their respective advantages.Once again,through questionnaire surveys,we can understand the degree of acceptance of the international students with the structure and content of the textbooks,and collect feedback from students.Finally,based on social development,combined with the questionnaire,put forward innovative views on the strengths and weaknesses of the two sets of intermediate reading textbooks. |
