Sumpa khan-po Yece pal Jor is a monglian outstanding Buddhist, historian, medical scientist as well as a litteratour in the 18th century. He wrote about 60 works all his life.which have been divided into 8 volumes and published with popularity. His works have offered valuable material to us in studying Monolian and Tibetan.The paper translates In the thesis translation written by Sumpa khan-po Yece pal Jor’sthe annals of Kokonor, and make analysis and comment.The paper consists of five parts:introduction, main body including three chapters, conclusion, bibliography and appendix.The introduction part analyzes and studies the main content and meaning of Kokonor. It also presents general situation, purposes and methods of the paper. The first chapter of the paper mainly introduces general situation of Youning Temple and Sumpa-khan-po Yece Pal Jor’s life and works. Chaper two is Mongolian translation and annotation of Kokonor. During the procers of translation, it makes an emendation of the Mongolian version and the Chinese one. Chaper three, makes a contrastive anelysis on Kokonor and Mdo smad cos Vbyung from the content and historical figure, and analyzes the characteristics of Kokonor from the perpective of content,writing skills and the ideas.
