The Function And Performance Test Of Virtualization Platform In Hospital Information System Construction

With the continuous development of China’s Health Information Management, the information system and data are more frequently used and demanded by all the hospitals and health institutions, this makes the information system management more and more difficult. Currently, the hospitals are in the process of improving their information management level; they aim to achieve a more scientific and standard hospital management through infomationization improvement. Virtualization technology can integrate different systems in the same hospital, more reasonably allocate the information resources, and collect and manage the data in a more scientific and standard way. This paper analyzes and explores the performance difference between the virtual platform and the traditional structure of the hospital information system.The beginning of this paper described the deficiency of the previous information system structure in a specialized tertiary hospital. With the rapid development of the internet and information management today, the hospitals are experiencing constant expansion in the numbers of information systems and users, and business scopes; more comprehensive and standardized data acquisition and management requires a better improved hardware resources, which highlights the limitation of the traditional system structures.After researching on the current system requirements of this tertiary hospital, improving the information system implementation plan, integrating the traditional hardware including internet, storage, and server through virtual platform, and running the comparison test between the new platform and the traditional structure, this paper finds that the application of the virtual platform in the hospital information systems can not only ensure the safe and stable operation of the systems, but also improve the information system management through a more integrated hardware resources.
