Performance Analysis Of Information System Of The A Hospital

The development of information technology brings huge changes in many fields like people’s life style, enterprise production and regional economy.Hospital information system helps a lot for process standardization, improvement of health service quality and operational efficiency. Medical demand increases remarkably with aging society coming so that high requirements of hospital operation and management are essential and hospital information is regarded as an effective means to improve the quality of hospital management and services.Hospital information has got rapid development in recent years and further research on its impact shows realistic meaning. Meanwhile, lots of problems are not solved and “IT productivity paradox” phenomenon is still existed. There are few researches on the influence of hospital information system on performance and the relations between them are not clear. The value of information system has not been generally accepted. Therefore, based on the theory of task technology fit and information system integration, this paper is to prove the relationship between the implementation of the A hospital information system and the hospital performance, the main contents is as follows:Clarify the internal motivation of information system to the organization,and analyze the path of how hospital information influence performance based on the theory of information system integration and the task technology fit etc.Propose the related hypothesis.This paper briefs the application actuality of hospital information system and collect user feedbacks by means of survey and interviews. Analyze the operation indicators such as hospital income, hospital bed utilization, average length of hospital stay, diagnosis and treatment and diagnostic accurate rate etc using ANOVA and T test with SPSS19.0 software.Analysis the motivations of hospital information system implementation impacts connecting the IT integration key events and propose suggestions on information system quality improvement and management decision making assistant.
