Purpose:To explore the relation between syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine of knee osteoarthritis patients and the finding of MRI,by analyzing 182 cases of knee osteoarthritis MRI and syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine.Method: Collect 182 osteoarthritis of the knee cases with complete clinical history from Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to the MRI of osteoarthritis of the knee patients and the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation,to explore the relationship between between them by using modern statistical methods. Results: General Information shows in a sample of 46 male cases and 136 female cases, the incidence is higher in patients aging from 50 to 69 in which the 60-69 age group possesses the highest incidence, accounting for 34.42%. Knee osteoarthritis traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation each pattern of age, duration of disease was not statistically significant. In this case investigations study, the distribution of its syndromes is: 82 liver and kidney deficiency syndrome cases, accounting for 45.06 percent, 71 cases of blood stasis which is in the second place, accounting for 39.01%, 18 stasis paralysis resistance syndrome cases which is the third, accounting for 9.89 percent, and the least is the wind cold dampness poliomyelitis, accounting for 6.04%. Of the 182 patients with knee osteoarthritis patients, damage liver and kidney deficiency of meniscus degeneration are more; Of the 182 patients with knee osteoarthritis patients, single knee illness 101 cases, accounting for 55.49 %, double knee prevalence of 81 cases, accounting for 44.51%, single diseased knee more.Of the 182 patients with knee osteoarthritis TCM Syndromes various syndromes and MRI imaging findings were statistically significant. In the MRI imaging findings in liver and kidney deficiency syndrome in meniscus degeneration, injury-based, mainly blood stasis cartilage damage, bleeding blockage of congestion card to joint effusion based, wind, cold and dampness hair small number of cases, which was not statistically different. Conclusion:Knee age segment mainly concentrated in the age of 50-69, of which 60-69-year-old the highest incidence;Suffering from osteoarthritis of the knee for the majority of female patients(74.73% of the total number), and liver and kidney deficiency syndrome in the majority;Of the 182 patients with knee arthritis bone, a single diseased knee majority(accounting for 55.49%);Knee Osteoarthritis TCM syndrome type and age, no longer statistically significant when sick;Of the 182 patients with knee osteoarthritis TCM Syndromes various syndromes and MRI imaging findings were statistically significant.
